Licensed Massage Therapist
For as long as I can remember, I have been a seeker, wanting to find ways to nourish my soul, and to create abundant health and well being in my life. In my early 20's working in the demanding fashion industry, I discovered the benefits of massage therapy and it's ability to help me to thrive in a stressful environment. The importance of self nurturance became abundantly clear and was the springboard to my understanding the connection between the mind and body. It led me to a career change in 1994 becoming a licensed medical massage therapist at the Swedish Institute in NYC. Seeking a more in depth study of the emotional, psychological and spiritual realms of bodywork, I completed the five year course of study at the IM School of Healing arts.
To further enrich my practice, I studied the ancient healing art of Ayurveda (the science of life) which offers simple ways to achieve wellness through food, lifestyle and behavior.
For 26 years it has been my immense joy to serve a wonderfully diverse clientele from infants to elders on their journey to well-being.
